Above: The BCTV Master Control Room, which features DVD and VHS playback capability. Additionally, in April, 2009, BCTV will install a Leightronix Nexus Server-Based Automation System. The Nexus will enable BCTV to cablecast programs on both BCTV Cable 18 (public access) and BCTV Cable 20 (government access) directly from files on the Nexus server.

Above: In the BCTV Master Control Room, you will note two monitors, which BCTV continuously monitors the on-air signals of both BCTV Cable 18 (public access) and BCTV Cable 20 (government access) channels on the Comcast system.
Above: Also In the BCTV Master Control Room, you can see the transmission equipment, including the Digital Rapids encoder, which transmits the signals of both BCTV Cable 18 (public access) and BCTV Cable 20 (government access) to the new AT&T U-Verse IPTV system for carriage on AT&T channel 99.
